Message Mug Rugs: A great way to send a message to a friend! Or, leave off the lettering and make them for yourself! 
These are quick and fun to make. Each one takes less than an hour, and they are 100% made in the hoop. What friend or family member wouldn’t want to receive one of these cute critters?

Fabric for Penguin:
5.5” x 7” white fabric, & 5.5” x 7” blue fabric for backing
5.5” x 7” organza for snow (optional)
Two 5.5” x 8” backing pieces
5.5” x 7” batting

Fabric for all other mug rugs:
5.5” x 7” background fabric
Two 5.5” x 8” backing pieces
5.5” x 7” batting
Scraps for applique -- hedgehog body & outer fur, the dog, the pumpkin, and the blanket leaf

No Show mesh stabilizer
Painter’s tape for applique
Embroidery thread
