Simple Sawtooth Stars frame scrappy nine-patch centers using multiple prints and backgrounds. However, it is the Goose on the Loose block that takes the unequal nine patch concept to new heights. Using hourglass units and corners on squares, Kim creates a churn dash in the block center. Pieced in her Scrap Basket Favorites collection, the Whispers of Autumn quilt shines with fall’s warm rich colors.
