Katahdin White jelly roll batting strips 2.25 and 2.5 inch 50 yards

Katahdin White Jelly Roll Batting Strips

The bright white version of Katahdin's jelly roll batting strips — available in both 2-1/4" and 2-1/2" widths at 50 yards each. White cotton batting is the natural choice for white-background and light fabric jelly roll quilts where the standard natural/unbleached batting would show through light-colored fabrics. Available in both standard jelly roll widths to accommodate different pattern requirements. Sibling strips: the natural Katahdin Summer 3oz strip, the Pellon cotton-with-scrim roll, and the 80/20 blend strip.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does white strip batting matter?

On white and pale jelly roll fabrics — natural batting's cream cast can shadow through light strips, exactly the same logic as choosing bleached batting for light quilts.

Why two widths?

Patterns vary — 2-1/2" matches standard jelly roll strips, while 2-1/4" suits patterns that want the batting slightly inside the seam allowance for flatter joins.

How far does each 50-yard roll go?

2–3 rugs or several runners per roll — the same coverage as the other strip formats, in bright white.
