Divide your quilt length (plus 8" total overage) by 36 to get yards. A 108" wideback covers quilts up to about 100" wide in a single seamless piece -- a queen quilt (roughly 90x100") typically needs about 3 yards, with no piecing required.
Do shimmer widebacks quilt differently than regular cotton?
