Cotton is the heart of quilting, and Linda’s All Cotton Fabric collection brings together hundreds of prints, solids, and textures in quilting-weight cotton from the most beloved fabric designers in the industry. Whether you’re building a scrappy stash or shopping for a specific project, you’ll find the perfect cotton here.
What types of cotton fabric do you carry?
Our cotton collection includes quilting cotton (standard 44/45 inch wide), batiks, widebacks, flannels, sateen, and specialty prints from designers like MODA, Andover, Hoffman, Island Batik, and many more.
Is quilting cotton the same as regular fabric store cotton?
Quilting cotton is typically a tighter, more uniform weave than general craft cotton, making it easier to cut accurately, press flat, and piece with precision. It’s the gold standard for patchwork and applique.
How much fabric do I need for a quilt?
Fabric requirements vary widely by pattern and quilt size. Most quilt patterns include a fabric requirements list. As a rough guide, a lap quilt might use 3–6 yards of fabric across multiple prints.
Do you sell fabric by the yard?
Yes — most of our cotton fabrics are available by the yard. Some are also available in fat quarters, half-yard cuts, and pre-cut bundles. Check individual listings for available cut options.
