▶ The Quick Rule Warm palette (reds, oranges, golds) → Ivory or Natural. Cool palette (blues, greens, purples) → White or Snow. Modern neutral (doesn’t fit warm or cool) → Snow or Silver. Reproduction or vintage → Natural or Ivory. When in doubt, Snow is the most universally safe choice.
Can I see Kona neutrals together in person?
Yes — Robert Kaufman provides Kona color cards that show all 300+ colors including every neutral in a printed swatch format. Ask your local quilt shop for a Kona color card, or request one online. Seeing the neutrals in person is the only reliable way to choose among them — screen calibration varies too much for digital color comparison.
