48” x 60” Lap Quilt Use our new Middle to Middle Piecing Method to create this happy elephant quilt! (You’ll cut multiples for the elephants and backgrounds at once and the assembly of angled pieces is both accurate and stress-free.) Grab bright pastels for the elephant bodies (pattern is layer-cake friendly) and soft neutrals prints for the backgrounds. Small buttons or fusible appliqués make wonderful eyes and the pinwheel blocks, held up by elephant trunks add a punch of playful color and movement.
