VersaFoam Foam Stabilizers
add flexible shaping, lightweight body and lasting support to a wide range of projects. Available in  sew-in, single-sided fusible and double-sided fusible versions.

  • Ideal for bags, purses, pouches, device cases, costumes, home décor, apparel, crafts and accessories.
  • Enhances or replaces other stabilizers to achieve polished, professional results.
  • Safe for sewing machines and easy to cut with scissors or a rotary cutter.
  • Sew-In Foam features a brushed polyester exterior on both sides for a softer, more luxurious feel.
  • Single-sided Fusible Foam features brushed polyester on one side and fusible tricot on the other.
  • Double-sided Fusible Foam features fusible tricot on both sides.
  • Fusible versions help eliminate the need for basting.

Important Reminder

Always test stabilizer on a fabric scrap before applying to a full project. Adjust pressing times as needed.

Preparation Steps

  1. Prewash fabrics without fabric softeners. Foam does not need prewashing.
  2. Cut foam stabilizer per pattern instructions.
  3. Trim seam allowances if needed.

Finishing

  1. Sew or quilt as directed by pattern or project instructions.
