Description
Treasured Cabins is an easy quilt to sew and was designed with Missie Carpenter's first line of fabric for Marcus Fabrics called Treasured Past. This would be an excellent choice for a hands on program/activity at your shop. The blocks are an original variation of a log cabin block and are beginner level. By changing the direction and placement of each block, MANY different quilt designs can be made! A twist here and rearrange there and you have a new quilt with each turn and position. Besides the cover quilt design, there are 12, yes, twelve more designs inside the pattern that can be made with the same blocks! Use a design board in the shop and get the customers involved with arranging this design. Each pattern will contain an image of the layouts for you to refer to during the program. Which will YOU choose? You may end up with a baker’s dozen of these quilts just for the fun of it! A finished size of 89.5" square will give you a great wall hanging or queen sized bed quilt. With slight adjustments of the borders, larger or smaller quilts can be made easily. The versatility is abundant!
