Frequently Asked Questions

Why is lavender the marathon-pressing scent?

The calm association — hours at the ironing board are the repetitive stretch of quiltmaking, and lavender's relaxation reputation makes it the scent quilters deliberately choose for pressing days. It's studio aromatherapy that also crisps fabric.

Lavender Fields or the florals?

Herbal versus floral — lavender reads as garden herb, not perfume; pressers who find rose and blossom too sweet but Scent Free too austere land here.

Scent persistence?

Session-only — present while pressing, aired out of the fabric after; finished quilts carry no lavender.

Formula parity?

Identical across the wall — crispness, dilution behavior, and residue-free performance are one recipe; only the nose differs.

The gallon habit?

Refill a labeled bottle per station from the jug — the bulk format that active pressing rooms standardize on.
