Frequently Asked Questions

Where does Dark Sea sit in the blue-green minky range?

At the deep end — saturated and shadowed where teal and aqua minkys run bright. When the quilt's mood is wilderness or deep ocean rather than beach day, Dark Sea is the register.

Is it masculine-quilt appropriate?

Yes — deep teal-green reads sophisticated and gender-neutral, one of the few plush colors that works equally on a rugged outdoor-theme quilt and an elegant jewel-tone one.

Which cotton companions does it pair with?

Blue Turquoise and Green Pool Grunge on the front or in a pieced back — tonal blue-green compositions where Dark Sea supplies the depth.

What bobbin on dark teal plush?

Matching dark teal or deep green — keep the bobbin in the saturated family on this dark a ground.

Décor uses?

Throw pillows and cushions especially — the jewel tone plus plush reads upscale in home décor where lighter minkys read juvenile.
