Is Floriani thread suitable for longarm quilting or just embroidery?

Floriani 40wt polyester works in both embroidery machines and longarm quilting machines. The vibrant colors are especially popular for decorative longarm work where thread color is part of the design.

How are the 360 colors organized on the racks?

The spools are arranged on the racks by color family for intuitive selection. The wood racks can be wall-mounted or placed on a shelf for easy studio access.

Does the set include the Rainbow software mentioned in the product name?

This specific listing is for the thread and wood racks only. Check the individual product listing for whether Floriani Rainbow or other software is included — configurations may vary.

Can I buy replacement spools of individual colors from this set?

Yes — all Floriani thread colors are available as individual spools on Linda’s Electric Quilters so you can restock any color that runs out without purchasing the full set again.

What needle size should I use with Floriani 40wt thread?

For embroidery machines, use a 75/11 embroidery needle. For longarm machines, use the needle recommended by your machine manufacturer for 40wt polyester thread.
