How does iTouch auto-lift benefit a quilter during pressing sessions?

Quilting involves frequent set-down pauses — between pressing each seam, between blocks, and when handling multiple pieces. The iTouch auto-lift means the iron never rests on fabric during these pauses, eliminating scorch marks on fine quilting cotton and fusible interfacings even during long pressing sessions.

What is the Tula Pink edition?

A collaboration colorway featuring the modern quilt designer Tula Pink’s distinctive aesthetic applied to the Oliso Pro Plus iron body. Functionally identical to the standard Pro Plus — special edition design only.

How does the Pro Plus compare to the M3 Mini?

The Pro Plus is the full-size quilting iron with more steam power and soleplate area for pressing larger pieces. The M3 Mini is specialized for detailed small-piece pressing. Many quilters keep both — Pro Plus for general pressing, M3 for detail work.

Is this iron appropriate for use with Best Press or starch products?

Yes — apply spray products to the fabric, not to the iron. The iTouch feature is particularly useful when working with starch products since the iron is only in contact with fabric during active pressing strokes.

Is the steam output sufficient for pressing thick quilt seams?

Yes — the Pro Plus delivers significant steam output appropriate for pressing thick seam allowances, quilt blocks with multiple fabric layers, and all standard quilting pressing tasks.
