How does Deluxe loft compare to Select loft?

Deluxe is significantly higher loft than Select. Select is a medium loft for everyday bed quilts; Deluxe is a thick, show-quality loft for quilts where maximum volume and drama are desired. Deluxe requires wider-spaced quilting lines to showcase the loft.

What is the recommended maximum quilting distance for Deluxe loft?

Quilters Dream Deluxe can be quilted up to 8–10 inches apart. Open, flowing pantograph designs work especially well to show off the high loft between quilting lines.

Is white polyester batting good for bright, modern quilts?

Yes — white polyester batting keeps colors vibrant and is an excellent choice for bright, modern, or art quilts where the batting color peeking through the weave could affect the appearance of the top fabric.

Will Deluxe loft flatten over time with use?

High-quality polyester batting like Quilters Dream Deluxe maintains its loft well through normal use and washing. Tumble dry on low to restore loft after washing.

Is this batting suitable for hand quilting?

High-loft battings are more challenging to hand quilt through than low-loft cotton options. Deluxe is best suited for machine quilting on a longarm or domestic machine.
