UltraHold, Lite, or FeatherLite — which weight when?
Decide by whether the needle follows the iron: UltraHold is permanent no-sew (never stitch through it — it gums needles), Lite fuses then sews cleanly for stitched appliqué, FeatherLite does the same on delicate fabrics where stiffness would show. Most quilters keep Lite as the default and UltraHold for no-sew crafts.
When does spray basting beat pins?
Speed and flatness on small-to-throw quilts — SpraynBond holds the sandwich shift-free without pin bumps under the machine foot, and repositioning is as easy as peeling and re-smoothing. Ventilate, overspray onto scrap paper, and pins keep their place for king-size and heirloom work.
How do EZ-Print sheets change appliqué prep?
