Frequently Asked Questions

Why use the 124" width for king quilts?

The 124" width provides seamless coverage for king quilts without any batting seam, saving preparation time and ensuring consistent loft across the full surface.

How many king quilts does a 20-yard roll yield?

At approximately 3.5 yards per king quilt, a 20-yard roll yields approximately 5–6 king quilts.

Is Soft & Bright particularly good for white or light-colored king quilts?

Yes — the brilliant white of Soft & Bright is ideal for white and light-colored quilts where a natural or cream batting might show through the fabric. The extra-soft hand also makes it excellent for bed quilts intended for regular use.

Does Soft & Bright require pre-washing?

No — 100% polyester batting does not require pre-washing. Ready to use directly from the roll.

What stitch spacing is recommended?

The Warm Company recommends quilting within 8–10" for Soft & Bright. This generous spacing allows maximum loft expression between quilted lines.
