Description
This is Pellon Nature's Touch natural cotton batting with scrim in the craft size: a small, low-loft piece for wall hangings, placemats, table runners, design walls, ironing board linings and other small projects. It is unbleached and made from 100% natural, ultra-clean cotton.
A polypropylene scrim binder (less than 1% of the fiber) gives support, so it can be quilted 8" to 10" apart. It is a sew-in batting, and it is washable by hand or machine and dry cleanable.

- Natural or white cotton batting?
- Natural (unbleached) is right under most fabrics. Under white or very pale fabric, the tiny flecks in unbleached cotton can show through; choose the white version for those. Pellon white cotton craft package
- How far apart can I quilt it?
- 8" to 10". The scrim holds the fibers together, so you can quilt more openly than with a no-scrim cotton.
- Can I use it for a microwave bowl cozy?

- Is it good for a design wall or ironing board cover?
- Yes. Pellon names design walls and ironing board linings as good uses. Cotton grips fabric pieces on a design wall and tolerates the iron under a cover.
