Description
Pellon® natural cotton batting with scrim, pre-cut into a continuous 2.5" strip and rolled 25 yards long. This is the small-project size of jelly roll batting — ideal for rope bowls, coiled baskets, padded bag straps, trivets, and quilt-as-you-go strips, or pair two rolls for a full jelly roll rug. Needle-punched with a soft scrim that lends strength and stability without bunching or bearding, with a 1/16" loft, 3–5% shrinkage, and stitch distance up to 10". Washable by hand or machine and dry cleanable.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is 25 yards enough for a jelly roll rug?
Not quite — the classic oval rug pattern calls for roughly 50 yards of 2.5" strips, so plan on two 25-yard rolls or one 50-yard roll for a full rug. One 25-yard roll handles bowls, baskets, and straps with room to spare.
Why does the scrim matter?
The needle-punched scrim gives the strip tensile strength, so it won't stretch, bunch, or beard as you wrap, coil, and sew.
Do I need to cut anything?
No — the strip comes pre-cut at 2.5" in one continuous length, saving the tedious work of slicing batting yardage into rug strips by hand.
