Description
Pellon® 525 Decovil Light is the softer, more flexible sibling of 526 Decovil — a one-sided fusible interfacing with a leather-like handle that gives bags, hats, and fabric bowls lasting shape without board-stiff bulk. This 17" x 10 yard bolt keeps production bag makers stocked: cut exactly what each pattern calls for. It is tear-resistant yet dimensionally stable and easy to shape, resilient and resistant to bending, punchable, with cutting edges suited to hats, belts, bags, small fabric bowls, and home decor. Easy to sew with synthetic or natural fabrics.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I use Decovil Light instead of regular Decovil?
Choose 525 Decovil Light when the project needs to hold a shape but still flex — soft-structured bags, curved bowls, hat crowns. Choose 526 Decovil when you want maximum, near-rigid body.
How do I fuse Pellon 525 Decovil Light?
Place the adhesive side against the wrong side of your fabric, cover with a damp press cloth, and press with an iron on the wool setting about 6 seconds per section. Let it cool flat before handling.
Can I sew through Decovil Light?
Yes — it sews easily on a home machine. A 90/14 needle and a slightly longer stitch give the cleanest results; grade it out of seam allowances on bulky intersections.
