Description
Pellon P44F is an ultra-lightweight, iron-on non-woven interfacing for light- to medium-weight fabrics. It adds support and shape without bulk, so a collar, facing or button band stays crisp while the fabric still moves like itself. Garment sewists use it on blouses and sheers, including crepe de chine, voile and handkerchief linen.
It is 100% polyester, white, and works with both woven and knit fabrics. Quilters use it to add light stabilization where a block or appliqué needs a little more body. This listing is cut by the yard from a 20"-wide bolt, so you order only what the project needs; the manufacturer's full bolt is 48 yards if you go through a lot of it.

- P44F is a non-woven polyester that adds light support without bulk. SF101 is a 100% cotton woven fusible that behaves like a layer of fabric, which is why quilters use it to stabilize stretchy t-shirt knits and to add drape-friendly body to bags. - Is P44F fusible or sew-in?
- Fusible, with adhesive on one side. If you need the same weight without adhesive, for heat-sensitive or textured fabrics, Pellon P45 is the sew-in version. Pellon P45 sew-in bolt
- Which side is the fusible side?
- The adhesive side feels slightly rough or bumpy from the glue; the other side is smooth. Place the rough side against the wrong side of your fabric, cover with a press cloth, and press without sliding the iron. Test on a scrap of your fabric first.
- How is the by-the-yard listing cut?
- Each unit is one yard of the 20"-wide interfacing, so order the number of yards your pattern calls for. If you use P44F constantly, the 48-yard bolt saves trips back for more. P44F 48-yard bolt
