Is Shape Form fusible?

No. It is a sew-in stabilizer. It is held by stitching, either in the hoop or in the seams, so no iron is needed.

Shape Form is a lightweight 14" x 28" piece for small projects and dimensional appliqué. Soft and Stable and In-R-Form are foam stabilizers by the yardage cut, with more body for full-size bags and totes. For a small in-the-hoop project, Shape Form; for a structured tote, a foam.

Is Shape Form a tear-away or cut-away?

Neither; it stays in the project to give shape. Trim the excess close to the stitching. You will still use a regular tear-away or cut-away backing in the hoop for embroidery.

Kimberbell Shape Form is a lightweight, sew-in specialty stabilizer that adds flexible shape and a little plush to sewing and embroidery projects. It is easy to sew through, so it works in the hoop and at the machine. Use it to give body to bags, purses and frames, or use it like an appliqué layer under appliquéd fabric to give the piece dimension.

Each package is one 14" x 28" piece, sized for Kimberbell in-the-hoop and small sewing projects. For larger panels, Kimberbell Flex Foam 20" x 60" is the bigger cut for the same kind of job.
