Description
OESD Fuse and Seal is a clear iron-on film for applying embroidery to most fabrics without sewing. Fuse it to the back of a pre-stitched design, such as a patch or an in-the-hoop applique, then iron the design onto a shirt, towel or bag. The heat-activated bond withstands repeated washing.
The 15" x 5 yard roll is the economical format when you finish a lot of patches or appliques; cut each piece a little larger than the design. For occasional use, the 8" x 10" sheets (20 per pack) are already cut to a handy size.

- The film is the same. The 15" x 5 yd roll is the better value for regular patch making; the 20-pack of 8" x 10" sheets is pre-cut and easy to store for occasional patches. Fuse and Seal 8" x 10" sheets
- Will an ironed-on patch survive the wash?
- OESD says the heat-activated bond withstands repeated washings. For items that get hard wear, such as backpacks or work shirts, many stitchers also stitch around the edge for insurance.
- Fuse and Seal vs fusible web: what is the difference?

- Which fabrics can I iron a patch onto?
- Most fabrics that tolerate a hot iron: cotton t-shirts, towels, denim and canvas. Skip it on vinyl, nylon outerwear and other fabrics that cannot take heat, and test on a hidden spot when in doubt.
- Can I use it to cover scratchy embroidery on the inside of a garment?
