Description
Pellon 360 EZ Stitch is a lightweight non-woven tear-away for general machine embroidery on most fabrics. It is 100% polypropylene and perforated, so the excess tears away along the markings without tugging or puckering the stitches. It is sew-in: hoop it under the fabric, stitch, tear. The 20" x 10 yard bolt cuts efficiently for every hoop size up to 8" x 12".
It is the everyday tear-away for stable woven fabrics such as cotton, denim, canvas and linen. For knits and anything stretchy, use a cut-away that stays in the garment, such as Pellon 380 Soft-N-Stay. If you want the stabilizer ironed in place before hooping, Pellon 371 Fuse-N-Tear is the fusible tear-away on the same 20" bolt.

Cuts are the hoop size plus about 2" each way, laid along the 10-yard length at the 20" width and turned where that fits more. Counts are approximate and assume no waste.

- Tear-away or cut-away: which is right for my fabric?
- Tear-away is for stable wovens, where the fabric itself supports the stitches after the backing is removed. Cut-away stays in the project and is the right choice for knits, stretch fabrics, sweater knits and open weaves, and for dense designs that need long-term support. - What does "perforated" mean on a tear-away?
- The sheet is scored with fine perforations so it separates from the stitching with a light pull in either direction instead of a yank. That is what keeps small lettering and outline stitches from distorting during removal.
- Bolt or package: do I need 20" x 10 yards?
- The 20" width cuts two 8" x 10" pieces side by side for 5" x 7" hoops, and fits 8" x 12" hoops with margin. If you only use a 4" x 4" hoop, the 12" x 11 yard package of 835 Stitch-N-Tear Lite is a smaller commitment; the embroidery sampler pack gives you four 12" x 5 yard rolls to try several types.
