Description
Sulky Sticky+ is a temporary, self-adhesive tear-away stabilizer for items that cannot be hooped or are too small to fit in a hoop: pockets, edges, button rows, ribbon, cuffs, collars, socks and doll clothes. Peel off the paper release sheet and stick the item down; no heat and no basting required.
Hooping the Sticky+ instead of the fabric eliminates hoop marks on fabrics that bruise easily, such as sweatshirt fleece, Ultra Suede, velvet, brushed velour, brushed denim, silk, flannel, knits and caps. The 12" width covers 6" x 10" hoops and larger pieces. All Sulky stabilizers are acid and lead free.

Cuts are the hoop size plus about 2" each way, laid along the 6 yd length at the 12" width and turned where that fits more. Counts are approximate and assume no waste.

- It stops hoop marks on knits and fleece, and holds them while they stitch. Because it tears away, it does not support a knit after stitching, so for designs that must hold up on t-shirts and sweatshirts add a cut-away under it or use a sticky cut-away. StabilStick CutAway 15"
- How do I use it?
- Hoop the Sticky+ with the paper side up, score and peel the paper inside the hoop, then press the item onto the adhesive. Stitch, then tear the stabilizer away.
- Does it need an iron?
- No. It is pressure-sensitive; no heat is required, which makes it safe for velvet, Ultra Suede and other fabrics you should not press.
- Which width should I buy?
