Description
The Quilters Dream Batting Sample Card is the cheapest way to settle a batting argument: ten swatches of the Dream line on one card, so you can feel the loft, weight, texture and drape of each before you commit to a package or a roll. Our longarm customers keep one at the intake table so clients can choose with their hands; home quilters keep one in the sewing room for planning the next quilt.
The card includes Dream Fusible 80/20, Dream 80/20, Dream Cotton, Dream Poly, Dream Angel (flame retardant), Dream Blend, Dream Green (recycled), Dream Bamboo, Dream Wool and Dream Puff. That covers cotton, polyester, wool, bamboo blend, recycled and specialty fibers, and a range from the thin cotton lofts to the high-loft Puff. Note that the swatches show fiber and construction; Dream Cotton and Dream Poly are also made in several lofts (Request, Select, Deluxe and, for cotton, Supreme), so use the card to pick a fiber and then choose the loft from the product page.
Once you have decided, every batting on the card is sold here as a pre-cut package, and most are on 60", 93" and 120" rolls for longarm studios.

- Does the card show the different lofts?
- No. It has one swatch per fiber type. Dream Cotton comes in Request (thinnest), Select, Deluxe and Supreme (heaviest), and Dream Poly in Request, Select and Deluxe, so once the card settles the fiber, pick the loft on the product page. - Quilters Dream Sample Card vs Hobbs Sample Pack: which do I need?
- They cover different brands. The Hobbs pack has larger squares of every Hobbs batting (Heirloom 80/20, cotton, wool, polyester and the Tuscany line); the Dream card has ten small swatches of the Quilters Dream line. - They are feel-and-compare swatches, not test-quilt pieces. To try a batting on the machine, buy the Craft-size package of the one you are leaning toward.
