A full case of Warm Fleece in one-yard packages: 24 packages, each 45" x 1 yard, in your choice of Sew-In Warm Fleece, Fusible Warm Fleece 1 (fusible on one side) or Fusible Warm Fleece 2 (fusible on both sides). Pick the type from the size selector. Shops, studios and classrooms buy it this way because a single yard is the natural unit for a bag, a set of placemats or a class kit, and the packaged format stores flat and hands out cleanly.
All three are the same 100% polyester fleece at about 6 oz per square yard. It adds soft loft and body to totes, handbags, fabric baskets, soft books, quilted accessories and home decor, resists shrinking, and stays soft after machine washing and drying. The fusible versions carry Steam-A-Seam adhesive, and the fusible side feels slightly rough so you can find it. How you press decides the result: a quick, gentle steam press gives a soft, pliable bond; more steam and pressure give a firmer, more structured panel for stand-up bags. Made in the USA.
For continuous yardage instead of packages, the same fleece comes on 45" x 20-yard bolts: Sew-In, Fusible 1 and Fusible 2.

- Sew-In, Fusible 1 or Fusible 2: which case should I order?
- Fusible 1 (one-sided) covers most bag, basket and placemat work: press it to the back of the outer fabric and sew. Fusible 2 bonds on both faces, for fleece sandwiched between two fabrics. Sew-In has no adhesive, so it suits heat-sensitive fabrics, garments, and anyone who prefers to stitch layers rather than iron them. If a class or shop serves mixed projects, Fusible 1 is the safe default.
- How much fleece is in a case?
- Twenty-four packages of 45" x 1 yard, which is 24 yards of 45"-wide fleece per case. A typical tote uses well under a yard, so one case covers a lot of bags or a full class roster.
- Case of packages or 20-yard bolt?
- Same fleece, different handling. The bolt gives continuous yardage for long runners and cutting plans that cross the one-yard mark; the case gives tidy one-yard units for kits, classes and resale. - Which side of the fusible fleece goes against the fabric?
- The slightly rough side is the adhesive side; place it against the wrong side of your fabric. Pre-wash the fabric first, then press with steam. A gentle press keeps the panel soft; more steam and pressure firms it up. Heavier fabrics need more fusing time.
- Warm Fleece vs Pellon fusible fleece: any reason to pick one?
- They do the same job and patterns treat them as interchangeable. - Is Warm Fleece microwave safe?
- No. Warm Fleece is 100% polyester and the fusible versions carry a heat-activated adhesive; neither belongs in a microwave. For bowl cozies and anything that will be microwaved, use Pellon Wrap-N-Zap, the only batting we sell for that job.
