Description

Pellon SF101 Shape-Flex is an all-purpose woven cotton fusible interfacing that adds crisp, stable support wherever your project needs structure. Because it is woven rather than non-woven, it moves with your fabric and gives a clean, professional finish without feeling stiff or papery.

Fuse it to the wrong side of light to medium woven and knit fabrics to firm up collars, cuffs, yokes, plackets, pockets, facings, and waistbands. It is also a favorite for bag making and for stabilizing fabric behind embroidery and applique. Sold on a 20" x 10 yard bolt in white.

Frequently asked questions

Which side is the fusible side?
The fusible side has the slightly rough, bumpy adhesive dots. Place that side against the wrong side of your fabric and press with a hot iron to bond.

What fabrics is it best for?
Light to medium wovens and knits such as oxford cloth, chambray, gingham, flannel, quilting cotton, and cotton-poly blends.

Is it washable?
Yes. Once fused, Shape-Flex is machine washable and holds its bond through normal laundering.

How do I apply it?
Cut to size, place the adhesive side down on the wrong side of your fabric, and fuse with a hot, dry iron using firm pressure for several seconds across the whole piece.
