Description
This is Bosal In-R-Form Plus double-sided fusible foam stabilizer, precut for the Aunties Two City Bag Uptown. The Uptown size is 54" x 58" (493B-50). In-R-Form Plus is foam laminated to napped tricot and fusible on both sides, so the outer fabric and lining bond to it directly and the bag stands up on its own.
It is made for the Uptown City Bag pattern (AT650, not included), but you can use it for any purse pattern. The smaller bags in the series have their own precuts: MidTown, 36" x 58" and Downtown, 18" x 58". Made in the USA.

- Both are foam stabilizers for bags that stand on their own. In-R-Form Plus (this precut) is fusible on both sides, so the fabric bonds to it without basting or quilting. ByAnnie's Soft and Stable is a sew-in foam that you quilt or baste to the fabric. Soft and Stable white 36" x 58"
- How do I fuse double-sided foam?
- Place the outer fabric and lining wrong sides against the foam, cover with a pressing cloth and press one side, then turn and press the other. Use moderate pressure so you do not flatten the foam, and let it cool before sewing.
- Can I use it for a different bag pattern?
- Yes. It is cut for the Uptown bag, but the foam works in any purse or tote pattern that calls for a fusible foam stabilizer. Cut the pattern pieces from the sheet as you would from yardage.
- What are the alternatives to In-R-Form Plus?
