No scrim is used in Warm & Plush®. Instead, its needle-punched cotton construction provides the consistency and stability needed for a wide variety of quilting techniques while preserving an all-cotton batting construction.

Warm & Plush® remains soft and workable whether quilting closely or leaving up to 6 inches of open space between quilting lines or ties. It works well for stitch-in-the-ditch, free-motion quilting, tied quilts, and floating quilt frames, giving quilters flexibility when choosing their preferred technique.

Optional Pre-Washing Instructions:

Pre-washing is not required. If you choose to pre-wash:

• Hand wash using mild detergent.

• Do not agitate or spin in a washing machine.

• Soak for approximately 20 minutes.

• Rinse several times.

• Gently squeeze out excess water. Do not wring.

• Rolling the batting in a towel can help remove excess moisture.

• Lay flat to air dry for best results, or tumble dry on low.

• Use cold water to help minimize shrinkage.
